Bindu Madhavi willing to wear swimsuits on screen

Bindu Madhavi, who wowed Telugu audiences with her Telugu diction in her debut attempt Avakaya Biryani, is being flooded with offers and has already signed her second film. Sources say she has been signed opposite Allari Naresh in a film to be directed by B. Jaya and produced by D. Rama Naidu (also spelt as D. Ramanaidu).
In Avakaya Biriyani, Bindu had a homely image, always dressed in sarees, but in real life, the petite actor assures us she is not as traditional as her character in her debut film. Wanting to break out of her traditional image, she says that she's not averse to wearing swimsuits if the 'script demands it'.
Her philosophy being 'Live Life King size', Bindu has already approached Bollywood producers for a chance in Hindi films. But the pretty young heroine is not hanging around for Bollywood to acknowledge her. She says she is very serious about her career in the South Indian film industry and wants to make it big in Telugu.
Venkatesh is her favourite hero and Bindu wants to act opposite him very soon

Kaniha is Sathyan's heroine!

The acute shortage of heroines in Malayalam is reflected by ace director Sathyan Anthikad's decision to pick 'Five Star' Kaniha to be his heroine for his new Jayaram film!
Kaniha who debuted in the Susi Ganesan's Tamil film Five Star could never make it to the top. However due to original heroine walking out of Hariharan's epic Pazhassi Raja, she was called to be paired opposite Mammootty.
After her marriage to an NRI, lady luck seems to have shined on Kaniha. She has been chosen by Sathyan Anthikad, the director who discovered Asin, Nayanthara and gave Meera Jasmine big breaks in Malayalam cinema.
Sathyan's new untitled film (he always announces the title only a few days before release) is produced by Hamza of Kala Sangam, and has Jayaram in the lead. Also in the cast are Mamookoya, Innocent, Nedumudi Venu, K.P.A.C. Lalitha and other Sathyan regulars. As usual the maestro Ilayaraja is in charge of the music.
The shoot of the film will start on February 1 at Allapuzha as Sathyan is giving finishing touches to his script about a Christian family residing in Kuttanad area.
The film will be a summer release in the first week of May.

Bindu Madhavi in Puri Jagannath’s film

The actress (Bindu Madhavi) who impressed everybody in her debut film Avakaya Biryani has been signed on to play the lead role in the next film of producer-director Puri Jagannath.Puri will produce a film titled Kothulu (Monkeys) with his brother Sai Ram Shankar as hero. This film will go to floors in January 2009. The pre-production works are already in progress.At present, Puri is busy giving final touches to Neninthe starring Ravi Teja and debutant Siya.
