Krishna Nee Late Aagi Baaro


Ramesh Aravind has his hands full these days. He is currently acting in and directing the hilarious comedy Venkta in Sankta and is also producing the comedy Krishna Nee Late Aagi Baaro.
Krishna Nee Late Aagi Baaro was recently launched in Bangalore with actor Mohan as the debut director. Ramesh Aravind will play the lead character along with Mohan who will also act in the film. The story and script are also by the director. The title (Krishna Nee Late Aagi Baaro) is taken from the famous devotional song Krishna Nee Begane Baaro. The film will be a full-length comedy like Ramesh Aravind's previous films Rama Shama Bhama and Satyavan Savitri.

Mumaith Khan ready to marry ?.


Mumaith Khan, the “Epatiki Inka Naa Vayasu” girl is staying away from the media these days. The reason is said to be because of the baseless gossips erupting out in media which Mumaith neither denies nor accepts. Now the latest hot news is that the item girl turned actress is said to be dating a NRI from Australia and the person is said to be businessman planning to invest in India. Last month the pair met each other in a party in Hyderabad and then again in Chennai and from then the two are seen cozying out together. Reliable sources reported that the couple went to a multiplex recently in Chennai and shopped from accessories. The NRI is said to be a big flirt and Mumaith is giving company to him when he is in India. If at all the NRI decides to venture in the film production, then Mumaith Khan will be his first choice as a heroine. The NRI is said to be a staying in a posh 7 star hotel in Chennai and Mumaith is said to be giving him a nice company day and night.

Charmee and Sashank with Manjula



After the super success of Anukokunda Oka Roju, Charmi and Sashank are once again pairing up for a movie which will be produced by Manjula on Indira Creations banner. This yet to be named movie will be directed by VK Prakash. The regular shooting of this movie will start from October 20th. Manjula who is the very own sister of Prince Mahesh Babu started her own production house and co-produced Mahesh Babu super duper hit film Pokiri. She also made one critically acclaimed film before Pokiri which got her both name and fame along with many awards.

Meera Jasmine bags Sreevidya best actress award


Popular South Indian actress Meera Jasmine Thursday bagged the first Sreevidya award for the best actress in the Malayalam film industry.
K.B. Ganesh Kumar, chairman of the MLV Sreevidya Charitable Society, said that a jury comprising veteran Malayalam film director Siddiq chose Meera Jasmine for the award.
"She has been chosen for the first Sreevidya award for her role in 'Orae Kadal'. The award would be given on actress Sreevidya's second death anniversary, which falls this Sunday," said Kumar.
Sreevidya died on Oct 19, 2006, at the age of 53. She had acted in many South Indian films. However, it was in the Malayalam film industry that she made a huge impression.
"We have also decided to start a Cancer Foundation in Sreevidya's memory and would work in tandem with the regional cancer centre here by financially supporting women patients who cannot meet the treatment costs," said Kumar.
