Mohanlal and Jayaram to share the screen

Mohanlal will again team up with Jayaram, again in the new movie directed by Blessy. These two big actors of Mollywood have earlier come together for films like 'Advaitham' which came out 18 years ago.
Recently they were also seen together in the AMMA's multi starrer 'Twenty: 20’ which featured all the stars from Mollywood.
Blessy’s yet to be titled new movie will be produced by Raju Malyath. The exact shoot dates of the movie is yet to be finalized as the director has got some personal reasons to delay the shoot of the movie.
Last time when Mohanlal and Blessy came together was for 'Thanmathra' which fetched accolades including the state awards for the best actor.

Surya buys Audi Q7

Surya, to celebrate the success of his Vaaranam Aayiram, purchased an Ice Silver colored spanking new Audi Q7, before he left on his US vacation.
The Audi Q7 is a full-size luxury sport utility vehicle (SUV) produced by German automaker Audi and was unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January 2006.
The Q7 is a luxurious SUV that leaves its rivals far behind and equipped with highly enhanced features and state of the art technology. The Q7 costs approximately Rs 70 lakhs on Indian roads.
The buzz is that Surya has purchased the Audi Q7 on the recommendation of Gautham Menon, who was one of the first person to drive around in a black Audi- A4 car. Surya's Q7 has been picked from the Bangalore showroom of Audi, as it has a Karnataka registration.
Meanwhile Surya's lucky heroine (Ghajani and Vel) Asin had informed us that she too has picked a brand new Phantom Black Audi Q7, which her dad brought her on her birthday in Mumbai.

Mani Ratnam's Ravana in trouble

Mani Ratnam's big budget venture with Reliance Big Pictures, Ravana, a bi-lingual in Hindi and Tamil is now facing trouble due to the financial crisis.
According to sources, recently Reliance had sent a letter to Mani Ratnam to cut short the Rs.120 crore hefty budget of the film. In that letter, the corporate giant, which had struck deals with Hollywood studios, instructed Mani to reduce up to 50 percent of the production cost.
Reliance Big Pictures has told Mani that his film is not commercially viable as per the rate at which they had purchased the movie due to global meltdown and recession. Mani will now have to either look for a new producer or do some cost cutting if he has to continue with the film. This has come as a major setback to Mani who has been shooting his film on a lavish scale in the forests of Kerala.
The company has also postponed their other Tamil films like Cheran's Autograph - 2, Hari's Singam to be produced by Studio Green featuring Surya, and Fazil's new film with Prithviraj.

According to news, Hot hunk Hirthik Roshan has given luscious babe Kangana Ranaut a nickname, after seeing her walking the ramp in top flick Fashion. Guess what it is… Catwalker.
Hrithik, who is working alongside Kangana on movie Kites, says, “Kangana’s entry in Fashion with the catwalk was simply amazing. I was blown away and complimented her. I think she is so far the best model on the ramp. I have nicknamed her catwalker for such an electrifying walk. She has done complete justice to her character”.
In Kites, Hrithik plays a dance instructor and Kangana is one of his student. While international actress Barbara Mori is also play pivotal role in the flick. The movie is expected to release in the mid of next year.

In his next venture, Kunal Deshmukh’s untitled thriller (again!), he plays a brush-wielding visionary all over again. Set in flood-hit Mumbai of 2005, the film has a more serious take on humanity than his previous sensual flicks.With a kissing-streak in his career, this new brush-toting penchant is hinting at an image makeover from the hip to the solemn - in fact, from the physically inclined to the intellectually inclined. Earlier Emraan, was reported to have declared he had had enough of paints and brushes after the shooting of ‘Raaz…’ The new role came as a surprise but Emraan welcomed the good script with alacrity.The painting role has stuck to him with such vengeance now that he has started dabbling in colours in his spare time, too.“Emraan has now become more serious about art and whenever he has time off from shoots, he practises his brush strokes,” a close friend of the actor remarked.

Saif shares a friendly relationship with Bebo’s parents, he tells, "We're very close. She has been really gracious in inviting me into her family. She's made sure I'm part of her family. I've also met Daboo uncle (Randhir) a few times, shared friendly drinks with him. As for Karisma, I think she's the sweetest girl ever in the world. I'm deeply fond of both Karisma and her husband Sanjay (Kapoor). They're truly wonderful people. Kareena's family has taken to me as warmly as my family has taken to her."
