It is well aware that Jagapatibabu played hero in ‘Homam’ directed by JD Chakravarthy and produced by Kirankumar Koneru. Even before the film proved a success commercially, the producer planned sequel to that movie and it was titled as ‘Siddham’ now. Jagapatibabu says, ‘It is almost like my dream character. My role in this film is a tough cop, who earns name of an encounter specialist. He never feels that one had to catch the criminal and produce him in court with evidences and all that. If he was sure that he was a criminal and he should be punished, he will simply encounter him. It is really a dynamic character. I am very happy for doing this role.’ Director JD Chakravarthy says, ‘I made this film with responsibility and commitment. Story for this film was given by Ram Gopal Varma and each and every sincere police officer in India is an inspiration behind this subject.’ Producer says, ‘We are planning to release the film either by the end of January or in the first week of February.
